Teaching with Testimony: Shine A Light on Antisemitism for Primary Education

November 16 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm UTC-8

According to new research, children as young as three years old can form negative biases when exposed to prejudice. This reminds us of the importance of countering antisemitism and other forms of hate, starting from a young age. Schools and families can play a significant role in countering antisemitism and hate by raising young people’s awareness about the nature of these prejudices that persist in our schools and communities today.

This webinar will present testimony-based resources developed with expert partners that address antisemitism in the primary school classroom using both historical and contemporary perspectives. Register for this webinar and learn how to access these supportive resources that expand student thinking and empower their agency to stand up against prejudice and antisemitism.

During this session, educators will:

  • Evaluate how addressing antisemitism at a young age can build resilience against hate
  • Explore strategies for addressing antisemitism in the primary school classroom
  • Access testimony-based resources develop student knowledge and skills to stand up against prejudice and antisemitism
