What isShine A Light?
About Us
Shine A Light is a national initiative to spotlight antisemitism through education, community partnerships, workplace engagement, and community advocacy. Fueled by an unprecedented coalition of over 60 North American Jewish and non-Jewish organizations from across the United States and Canada, Shine A Light draws from the inspiration of Chanukah, the Festival of Lights, to encourage Jews and allies to speak up about antisemitism and send a message that one single light can dispel darkness.
“The opposite of love is not hate. It is indifference.”
-Elie Wiesel
A shared commitment to humanity binds us together and gives all of us strength and optimism that change is possible. Today is no exception. We are stronger when we fight antisemitism together. If you would like to be a part of this coalition, join us on social media to #shinealight or please reach out to info@shinealighton.com.
